Follow the instructions below to download, install and connect the AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client on your Windows computer to the VPN. Open Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client. The app can be found by clicking the small white up arrow in desktop tray and then clicking Cisco AnyConnect globe. The latest iteration (v2.3.4) of the Cisco Secure Firewall Migration Tool adds public beta support for S2S VPN migrations from ASA: Policy-based (crypto map) Pre-Shared key authentication type VPN configuration to Firepower Management Center VP.

What: Cisco AnyConnect VPN client version update
When: Tuesday, November 10, 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.
Information Technology Services (ITS) will enable the auto-update feature. The AnyConnect VPN client should update to version 4.9 during the next attempt to establish a VPN connection to sslvpn.uncg.edu or vendorvpn.uncg.edu. If a message to restart the computer to complete the installation appears, reboot, and reconnect to VPN.

This service is available to all Clemson University faculty, staff, graduate students, and undergraduate students. You must have a valid Clemson USERNAME and password to use this service. If you have not been granted a Clemson USERNAME and password, use of this service is prohibited.

VPN (Virtual Private Network): A network that uses a public telecommunication infrastructure, such as the Internet, to provide remote offices or individual users with secure access to their organization's network. VPN users can exchange data as if inside an internal network although they are not directly interconnected.

Clemson University upgraded to the new and improved VPN service in September 2010. All servers should be accessible through this new service at this time.
