How to Get Warzone
For owners of the full version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Warzone will replace the previously named ‘Classified’ panel in the Main Menu. A one-time early access will give Modern Warfare owners the ability to download Warzone at 8AM PDT. For Modern Warfare owners who are current and have the most recent title updates, the download will be a 18-22GB. Once download is complete, Modern Warfare owners will “unlock” the Warzone panel, which was previously classified, and can enter the lobby and play.

For non-owners of the full version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Warzone will be available to download free in respective first-party stores starting as early as 12 PM PDT. Head to the store and search for ‘Warzone.’ Choose Call of Duty: Warzone to download. Warzone is a 80-101GB download for new, free-to-play users. Download could take up to several hours depending on bandwidth, service provider, additional regional factors and will vary by platform. The full version of Call of Duty:Modern Warfare is not required to play Warzone.

Los Angeles, USA - Call of Duty Warzone is the latest addition to Activison's Call of Duty range . The Battle Royale mode has been playable since March 10th, 2020 and without additional version of Call of Duty Modern Warfare *.
Much like Apex Legends, the Battle Royale mode of the new Call of Duty was released immediately after the official announcement. So there was the first insight into Warzone * just one day before the actual game was released.Battle Royale mode is now available free of charge on PC , PS4 and Xbox One . However, many players on the PC rightly ask themselves: Can Warzone also be downloaded via Steam instead of using Activision's rather bulky Battle.net launcher?
Call of Duty Warzone: also available on Steam?
The Call of Duty game series has been published on the in-house platform Battle.net since the merger of the industry giants Activision and Blizzard , which has meanwhile been officially renamed to blizzard.com.Battle.net is actually owned by Blizzard Entertainment and also offers Overwatch, World of Warcraft and Hearthstone. The two latest ActivisionCall of Duty parts can also be found here. As reported by ingame.de *, Steam also offers some games from the Call of Duty series.

While Battle.net sells the newer action shooter titles, Steam has a large selection of older games on offer. The following games from the Call of Duty series are currently available on Steam :

Only Call of Duty 3 and the two current offshoots Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Modern Warfare * with the new expansion Warzone are missing from the ranks of the main series parts. The new titles are again available on B lizzard.com.
Steam Call Of Duty Warzone
So bad news for all Steam users who want to play the standalone title via the Valve platform.Warzone is and will probably not be available on Steam in the future. The only way to start the new Call of Duty mode at least via Steam is the practical function of loading third-party games from the hard drive into your own library. However, this is not really helpful in the case of Call of Duty Warzone , since the detour via the Activision client still has to be accepted. Valve itself has not yet released an official statement on the release of Call of Duty Warzone on its own platform.

Call of Duty Warzone: Exclusive to Activison's Battle.net
Judging from this passage from the Warzone blog announcement, the PC version is available exclusively from Battle.net :
'When launched, players can team up with their friends on Playstation 4, Battle.net for PC or Xbox One in two game modes in trios: Battle Royale and Plunder.'

This explicitly refers to the start via B attle.net and no other sales platform for computer games such as Steam or the Epic Games Store . Time will tell, however, whether the Battle of Call of Dutymode can soon be downloaded from the Steam Shop, like many of its predecessors.
Cod Warzone Download For Free
If you haven't downloaded Warzone yet, you should bring two things with you: a lot of patience and a lot of free space. The download can be between 83 GB and 101 GB, depending on whether you're playing on Xbox One, PS4 or the computer.
